Hip. Trendy. Hot. That’s New York. That’s Kany García’s new single, Feliz. And that’s the video for the single, shot in The Big Apple.

Kany recently shot the video for the first single from her upcoming new album, Boleto de entrada.

Featuring the exuberant happiness that permeates the song, composed by Kany, and shot in Williamsburg, one of the most artistic and popular areas of not only Brooklyn but all of New York, the video for Feliz is the first collaboration between the Puerto Rican singer and composer and Latin Grammy winner, and director Picky Talarico (who has shot for Juanes, Julieta Venegas and Diego Torres, among other artists).

With vibrant colors and even stop-motion animation, Talarico has been able to create a unique New York experience for Kany and for what the song, contagiously joyful, wants to say.

Feliz is already playing on radio. Kany’s second album, Boleto de entrada, which she coproduced and was responsible for its string arrangements, makes its debut on September 22. And very soon, audiences will be able to enjoy Kany’s new video as well.
